PATRICIO FILIPPI
Chief Investment Officer
Patricio Filippi, chief investment officer, has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is co-founder and managing partner of Vertix Group LLC.
He is also co-founder and managing partner at Altamar Financial Group, a commercial bridge lender affiliated with Vertix. In addition, he is a managing partner at Chronos Capital Advisors, a multifamily office and financial advisory firm.
Previously, Patricio was managing director and head of investment counseling for Latin America (ex Brazil/Mexico) at Citi Private Bank, overseeing a portfolio of more than $10 billion in assets. Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, he was regional director and head of business development at Legg Mason Global Investments. Patricio also held positions at Citigroup Asset Management in Argentina and the U.S., including, head of sales and distribution for financial intermediaries, product specialist, and investment analyst.
Patricio earned a bachelor’s degree in economic sciences, specializing in business, from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Argentina.
In October 2004, he obtained the Series 7 General Securities Representative. Currently, he holds the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Examination license which qualifies him as an investment advisor representative.
